Q: Where are you located?
- We are at 400 NE 50th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73105, to the west of Lincoln Blvd on 50th. We are on the South side of the road.
Q: What are your business hours?
- The TB Control Center is open from 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Monday – Thursday. We are closed on Fridays, and we close at 4:00 PM on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month for staff meetings and training.
Q: What tests do you offer?
- We offer the traditional TB skin test as well as the QuantiFERON Gold In-Tube blood test which is more specific to actual TB infection. Please call (405) 419-4000 for pricing information on these tests. All tests are available to Oklahoma County residents only.
Q: When can I get a TB test?
- Skin tests are offered on Mondays and Tuesdays only from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Please click here for skin testing locations.
Q: Is it free?
- The cost for services may vary. Please call (405) 419-4000 to see if you’re eligible to receive TB testing at our clinic and what the cost will be.
Q: How long does it take?
- TB testing is done on a walk-in basis. Since we never know how many people will be present at any given time, we cannot give an accurate wait time for testing. The TB skin test itself only takes a few minutes. However, you must return to the clinic within 48-72 hours to have the skin test read or it is invalid. If you receive the Quantiferon Gold In-Tube blood TB test, no further clinic visit is required to receive results.
Q: Can I get x-ray results the same day?
- No. Our x-rays are interpreted and recommendations made by the OCCHD Medical Director. Since his responsibilities cover the entire agency, a 2-week window is allowed for him to interpret x-rays and provide an accurate recommendation for therapy if needed.
Q: I missed my appt. Can I come in today?
- If you have/had a scheduled appointment that you were unable to attend, please call (405) 419-4000 and we will ask the nurse supervisor if it is possible for you to be seen today. While we do our best to accommodate our clients, please know that it is not always possible to get an appointment on the same day.
Q: What can I contact DHS?

Q: I’m a medical professional. Why do I have to wait to get my clearance for work/school?
- Our office procedures apply to all persons receiving services through our clinic.
Q: Why don’t you have Friday appointments?
- In order to better serve the citizens of Oklahoma County, we adopted a 10-hour service day Monday-Thursday. We offer appointments as early as 7:00 AM and as late as 3:30 PM.
