A: The process can vary anywhere from two weeks to a month, and the applicants will either be notified by mail or phone.
Q: What is the process for selecting the applicants?
A: This process is based on job duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the job.
Q: Can I download and application off the website?
A: No, applications are filled out on the day of the first interview.
Q:_ Can I send my resume via email?_
A: Yes, that is an option that is available.
Q: Can I come in and pick up an application?
A: No, but you can submit a resume for jobs that we have currently open.
Q: Does your agency administer typing test?
A: No, typing tests are not required at OCCHD.
After You Are Hired
Q: When do my benefits begin?
A: Benefits begin the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment.
Q: What are my opportunities for advancement?
A: Open jobs are posted in various locations for internal candidates, and also in The Oklahoman.
Q: Do you have variable work schedules?
A: Full time work schedules are 40 hours per week. Depending on department needs and supervisor approval, there are primarily 3 types of schedules: 5 days at 8 hours per day; 4 days at 10 hours per day; and 4 days at 9 hours per day and 1 day at 4 hours.
