The
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation supports the Nurse Family
Partnership. Study after study show that when professional
nurses make home visits to low-resource, first time parents,
positive effects are seen for years or even decades.
Children First babies have higher I.Q. scores, had fewer
behavior problems, and were better prepared to enter
elementary school. Children First Mothers were better
educated on becoming a parent and of reaching her hearts
desires.
