Building Management: ensures that maintenance and repair of the building and grounds of OCCHD, the West Clinic and the TB Control Center are kept in optimal condition. The staff also maintain a regular vehicle maintenance schedule for agency vehicles.  For more information:  425-4473.

Clinical Support Services: Clinical Services provides support to the clinical programs of the agency. Clinical Support staff schedules appointments, registers clients, collects fees, maintains medical records and acts as a general information service to clients.

Community Resource Development:  Community Resources presently being formed. Once functional, this department will conduct health education and promotion within the community.  For more information:  425-4312.

Environmental Health Services:  Environmental Health Services involved in protecting the citizens of Oklahoma County from unhealthful conditions. This objective is achieved through education, inspection, intervention, and as a last recourse, enforcement. Inspection of business establishments (emphasizing food productions, storage, and service), pools and private homes is one of the major tools used in combating unhealthy conditions.  For more information:  425-4347.

Epidemiology: Epidemiology investigates outbreaks and individual cases of communicable diseases to determine sources and prevent spread through recommendations for interventions, such as prophylactic treatment or vaccination. This program also promotes community health by serving as a health consultant, monitoring proper licensing procedures, complaint follow-up and investigation of communicable disease outbreaks in child care centers and day camps. Additionally, this program conducts ongoing health needs assessments and evaluates data collected by various other programs to assist in program development and direction.  For more information:  425-4437.

Information and Finance: is responsible for the accounting, information system, purchasing, receiving and duplicating, and switchboard support for the agency.  For more information: 425-4313.

Laboratory: services are performed on both clinical and environmental specimens. Environmental laboratory testing is performed on specimens collected from individuals, municipalities, businesses, and other governmental agencies requesting the testing of water and solids. This testing is conducted primarily to determine the potential for disease-causing bacterial contamination. Clinical laboratory testing is provided to individuals seen in OCCHD Clinics.  For more information:  425-4380

Police: a police officer is stationed at the main facility to provide a safe environment for its staff and clients. Assuring the building is secured after-hours and proper parking lot, and evacuation procedures are also a function of this service.  For more information:  425-4399
